Vauxhall's Version of Dancing on Ice

Friday 29th January 2010
I have to admit I'm feeling a little rough this morning after Vauxhall's Ice Skating event last night. And what a night it was..... After a few too many rounds of alcohol (yes, I do have myself to blame, but it would have been rude of me not to have had, especially after if was all free).
So, after arriving at the Exhibition centre in Marylebone last night, I was whisked straight to the front of the queue with my VIP pass (thanks Vauxhall for organising this!) and after walking past the fierce looking bouncers, I squeezed passed and took a step into a fairy-tale winter wonderland.
The centre point clearly was the Vauxhall Astra encased in a giant snow dome. With the artificial snow blowing high up over the car every now & then, really did look quite spectacular. It looked a lot like one of those snow globes you had when you were a kid.

If that wasn't enough, I moved into another area and had the choice of having a go in the Car-aoke Corsa, grabbing a drink at the buzzing bar area, energetic round with ice skates on, or grabbing some delicious looking cup cakes. I'm sure you can guess which option I went for first..... (see below)

All in all, it was a fab night out with great music from the famous celebrity DJ's - Paloma Faith, Mr Hudson, Coco Sumner and George Lamb!! Well done Vauxhall for an unforgetable evening!
