Geneva Motor Show 2010 & Sexy Show Girls

Wednesday 10th March
The first major motor show on the European calendar, Geneva, is traditionally an important event and one packed with exciting debuts. This year, it took place between the 4th - 14th March and sadly I didn’t get a chance to go myself, but if it was anything like the Frankfurt motor show last year, I definitely missed out..
It's clear from the pictures below, that sexy and curvaceous models occupied the stands and I’m not just talking about the metalwork.
GM gave us a taste of its future, displaying 4 cars that express its mission of offering accessible engineering, innovative technology and efficient, elegance, environmental responsibility. The highlights of the show were the world premiere of the Flextreme GT/E concept car (the latest incarnation of Vauxhall's electric dream!) and the new generation Meriva five-seater.
Produced over the last twelve months by design director Mark Adams and his team in Russelsheim, Germany, the Flextreme GT/E points the way forward to a future large flagship for the range, as well as showing how the firm's electric powertrains are developing.
The Meriva is a handsome little people mover with a clean, unassuming design. It has a sportier, more stylish appearance and to go with the look, it also has an airy, modernized fascia and interior. It boasts a flexible center storage console rail, "Flex space seating" featuring rear seats that adjust from side-to-side to make a third position, and a bicycle carrier that pops out from the rear bumper.
It actually halves (to around 20cm) the difference in overall length between its seven-seater brother, the Zafira, mostly due to the demands of new crash and pedestrian protection legislation. According to engineers, all small and compact MPVs will eventually grow.
Besides all the cars, I’m told the many stands were filled with some seriously seductive show girls. I bet every manufacturer worth their salt had at least one of two strategically positioned around their machines (I guess they’d be silly not to). Here’s a look at some of the best lady talent of 2010…

And if these pictures aren’t enough to get your juices flowing, here’s a great video montage of the girls, kindly put together by the guys at Autoblog. Thanks boys!!
