After posting a few people's reviews of the Millbrook Test Driving day in December, I thought I'd do a little post of my own thoughts... Now, I'm no car expert, but it really was an enjoyable day out! It allows drivers some freedom to drive and enjoy the vehicle at its best. From driving along the Alpine routes, to the High Speed Circuit, it was never a dull moment.

The car felt secure, being wrapped around my body like a glove (and I especially like the large number of seat & steering wheel adjustments it has), the Astra kicked into power when needed & handled the corners like a dream. Shane (my boss) & I managed to get some extra driving time in, after we completed all our filming. Ohhh the privilages when you have friends in high places...

I have to admit, my favourite was the Handling Circuit. We managed to get the video camera into the Turbo model and what an experience it was!! It was one of the scariest yet most enjoyable, memorable and exciting driving experience's ever!! You can actually see us here below in action, with the Pro-Driver Alex (he was cute!) explaining the advantages of the new ESP System.

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to all at Vauxhall for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to take a few of our key car bloggers & website editors along with us. Also, a big thanks to Graham Page and his team (and the marshalls) for helping the day run so smoothly and supplying me with some photo's from the event.
