Vauxhall has just launched a limited edition Astra VXR – the Vauxhall Astra VXR Arctic Edition – with just under £2k of extras. Just 500 being produced.



British Summertime may have begun, but Vauxhall’s latest addition to the VXR range still looks cooler than the wintery ice cold weather we’ve had, yet its performance is as hot as ever.

Easter Getaway-Travel Advice From The AA

I'm sure most of you are going to be travelling from today/tomorrow for the Easter weekend. I've just come across some useful information on the AA's website, and as well as a survey.


The AA is expecting roads to be busier than normal this Easter with around 17 million cars on the move over the break, as people put the gloom of the economy and a harsh winter behind them.

Cash For Bangers

THE Government's "cash for bangers" £400 million car-scrappage scheme has ended having considerably boosted the sale of new motors.


The vehicle discount or 'scrappage' scheme is a voluntary scheme for motor dealers. If a dealer joins they’ll give you £2,000 off a new vehicle if you let them scrap your old one. The scheme ran from May 2009 to February 2010

Happy St Patrick’s Day to all Astra owners and fans, Vauxhall lovers and obviously everyone else out there with a bit of Irish blood (or even attitude) in them.
